The WIltshire constabulary here in the UK are trying to trace the owner of a stolen garden Gnome.

Nice to see that the Police are not wasting their time...

The police shouldn't turn their back to any crime. You could say the same thing for more significant crimes.

"They spend their time tracking down mailbox baseball teens when there are rapists and drug dealers..."

"They spend their time tracking down muggers when there are cold hearted killers roaming the streets..."

I'm sure they don't have everyone working on the gnome issue. It does seem a little extreme that they made a web site looking for the owner instead of simply waiting for someone to call.

"Salisbury Police recently arrested a man who, when searched, was found to be in possession of a garden gnome."
What is this worldwide obsession with garden gnomes? From Amelie to The Full Monty they are ubiquitous!
I say give the Gnomes their own website.
