Got to thinking about how some of Mike's old topics would get under the skin of a lot of MacNN'ers and wanted to look some of them up for the sake of the good ol days. 
If this is the same Mike that was stepping away from MacNN a while back to get things back in order.

He was trying to kick the bottle after losing his second job due to his drinking. He faced up to his problems and moved into a Salvation Army hostel where he was getting the help and support he needed. I do hope that he's ok, sober and happy.

i hope he is doing well. i remember when i first joined here... he was such a cool dude. he was a veteran graphic production dude and i honestly looked up to him because i was still in college then.
then he started acting whacko and saying nasty shyt to all the girls and starting weird threads until he got banned.
