Lacie 60 Gig FireWire HD will not show up on desktop.

	This HD worked fine up until last week. All of a sudden it will not show up on the desktop. It does show up in the HD on the side bar. I can access it there and see that all of my stuff is on the LaCie and it works fine. How do I get the icon back on the desktop. By the way, I have tried other cables, 3 computers, repaired permissions, and I have called LaCie and they have no idea.
