UPDATE: Our optimize SETI apps are back....
There is an alternate optimized SETI BOINC app at http://www.lb.shuttle.de/apastron/boincDown.shtml.
This app is optimized only for G4 7450 or greater, but might work with other versions. It does work with the G5, though with less speed-up. It does make a difference for those folks crunching SETI. CAUTION: Complete all your current work, because it will dump any older work units that haven't been completed and will download new work.
