Yeah, weird. I went to order my Nano and saw the store was down. It IS Tuesday, though (usual new product release day).

It's probably just going to be lower pricing on something, tho.

just because the store comes down doesn't mean that they are releasing new products or lowering prices. They were probably updating their web application or something.

Doesn't Apple sort of like regularly update and upgrade everything they do? It kind of makes sense that their potentially 24/7/365 web presence should go offline for a little bit every now and then. Everything does, at least once in a while.

I'd really like to know how many "The APPLE STORE IS DOWN~!!!11!!!" posters were even near buying something online when they discover this major threat to the existence of mankind and let the rest of us know all about it. It's not like having a site go offline for a while indicates that a company is dropping some part of their business... I really don't understand the worry.

Sign me "Puzzled to the max."
