We have an old copy of Acrobat 5 that we want to use as a distiller on Panther Server... I was curious if there was an updated installer that didn't require OS 9. When we used Win2k3 server, the windows acrobat 5 copy we had worked fine without need for an old OS.
Thanks in advance.

All as artificial as the Matrix itself, although only a human mind could invent something as insipid as Love.

If the installer requires OS 9 it's probably not a version that will work under OS X.

I had a version of Acrobat Reader 5 running fine on Jaguar-Panther (client, not server, but that almost certainly won't make a difference).
What do you need Acrobat 5 for?

I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.
