Hi all-

I need to buy a new computer to hookup to a 1366 x 768 plasma display. I've never owned a Mac, but I'm considering trying a Mac Mini and hooking it to the plasma.

Question: Given that the Mac Mini won't output 1366 x 768 from the video card (nor will most video cards), I'd like to know how this will work? Is there a way to get pixel to pixel mapping from the Mac Mini?

FYI..........I have a Panasonic TH-50PHD7UY plasma display with both DVI and VGA inputs (I plan to use the VGA input since the DVI input is already used by the cable box).

Any help is appreciated!!!
Ben

DisplayconifgX is what most people use to get round that problem:

There are other software packages that do the same thing but that seems to be the most popular.

or you can just run it at 1280 by 720 and use stretch mode. Won't distort very much at all.

The Radeon on my tower shows 1360x768 as an option. I don't think you'll miss the 6 pixels...
