Here is a queston about Kansas I really need help with.

OK, the farmland of Kansas is surveyed off into squares. Where can I find information on how large these squares are? It looks like there are 4 small squares to one large square. If you don't know what I am talking about, go to google earth and check out some of west Kansas.

I believe the large squares are referred to as Wizards and the small squares Munchkins, so 4 munchkins == 1 wizard.

1 mile^2 = 640 acres IIRC
they are subdivided into 40 acre lots (1/4 mile on a side), which is probably what you see. obviously some lots can be combined or further subdivided.
