Hi,

Over the last 6 months I have been noticing that a process called "DirectoryService" are taking up significant amounts of my cpu-power.
I have noticed it when browsing the web; doesn't matter if it's Safari or Camino, when opening a new tab, typing in a new address or selecting a bookmark, the usages goes up to between 50 and 70%.
When I open up my powerbook after sleep (i hardly turn it off), DirectoryService also goes up to ~40% for 15-20 seconds, where the powerbook is almost unresponsive.

My machine is not exactly new - 12" powerbook, 1.5Ghz with 1.25Gb ram and latest Leopard - but is this perhaps just normal behavior, and the reason I "suffer" from this problem is simply that my machine is old and have a hard time keeping up?
