I'm a mac Newbie, but how do i get files reassociated w/ a program?
I have realplayer, and never use it
i ALWAYS use iTunes for all my MP3s
Recently Aimster has been showing Realplayer when i search for MP3. Thats alright, but when i Download them, every single file I download dosn't work, it's an unknown format to the Mac.
CAn anyone help?

i've always used finder pop for this sort of thing... it's great. it uses contextual menus to offer a ton of options, one of them for changing file types. what you do is put an empty file with the file type you want to assign in the finderpop folder and then command click on the file or files. it's easy... exactly how it should be.
another CMM you might consider is MP3 menu which allows you to change ID3 tags as well as the type and creator codes on your files. i haven't tried it out myself, but it sounds pretty handy.
