How to see mutilanguage internet pages?

I have this little problem. I don't know how I can make my internet browser to understand foreign languages, like, in my case, Russian.
How can I overcome this problem?? I am currently using IE 5 on Mac OS 904, Norwegian edition.

(Had to fiddle with the mac os instal cd..)
