I divide my time in 2 countries and my 2 Macs were both bought in local language versions - the G4/500 in Dutch and the Indigo in French. I prefer the Int'l English, purchased it in Holland and successfully installed it ove the Dutch default on the G4 there. Tried to get the same OS here in Switzerland but it was not in stock. As I find it quite annoying to work with the French version on the Indigo, I thought I,d install the Intl. English OS 9.0.4 I already have, while waiting for the ordered version to arrive. I am unable to start up from the CD (tried both to change the startup disk and to start up holding C) and install the OS version I want. Is this because it is simply impossible to use one OS CD to install on 2 computers or could it be a hardware problem with the Indigo? Thanx for any advice you can offer!
