After installing my cable modem I figured I'd do an update to 9.1. After downloading all of the updates my Powerbook Pismo 400 wouldn't install the newly downloaded updates. I am running OS X 10.04 with 256mb RAM. Any ideas?
Thanks.

You have to be running OS 9 in order to update OS 9. You cannot be booted into OS X and run updaters for OS 9. It doesn't work that way.
Reboot using your OS 9 system folder and then try to run the updaters.

The SU control panel is flakey sometimes I've found. First, try upping the RAM allottment for that app...way up. That often solves the problem. If not, reboot with just Mac OS base extensions on and try again.
