On startup, 9.2.2 really cranks - it's fast. Works great.

After the machine goes to sleep, it acts like my old IIci.

What's up?

give us some more info about your computer--memory, HD, processor, model, and things you might have connected to it when you put it to sleep.

Sorry for leaving out the specs:
G4, 400 MHz, 640 mb RAM, 20 GB HD, SCSI Scanner & SCSI Jaz (Adaptec card), 21" Nokia (Trinitron) monitor (primary) on ATI card, 19" Sony (palates)on older card

Remove the PCI cards and then try it.

Downgrade to 9.1 - 9.2 is only for Classic, and machines that come WITH it. Otherwise it is complete shit.

Get 9.1 full, or if you can't, 9.04.
