Isn't it a standard PC/AT power supply? You should be able to get one mail order pretty cheap - or scavange one from a 486 in a thrift store or something

I've got factory-new Motorola power supplies that I purchased from APS when they got out of the clone business. Their M*Power boxes were identical to the StarMax series. They're $25 each.

For more information, go to:

Last I heard CompUSA was handling their 5-year warranty service.

The only problem is, in every StarMax with a bad powersupply that I have seen, It has a blown motherboard ALSO

I havent heard the cause but either something is shorting on the MB and frying the PS, or the PS blows the MB when it goes.

I would just buy a G3 or G4 from MacDeals (starting under $850) http://homepage.mac.com/mac_deals/

Good Luck

Well, I will be getting the thing for free, so I am going to try to get it to work. Maybe someone even knows where I can get a motherboard for a cheap price??? I just want to have a clone! I have been wanting to get my hands on one. Anyway, thanks for everyone's help!
