It's out at VersionTracker

It's way better than before, the icons are better. Tomorrow here with the old version I had Drizzle, which showed up snow, although we haven't seen snow for months, which seems a big improvement...

A question: were the pro features as forecasts etc also implemented in the last version?

Still one request: a Location editor, so that I don't have to go to the plist file to remove Locations. I guess Recent Locations should be just named Locations in combination with such a thing.

Just purchased the pro verstion.

Has:
- Color
- More weather in menu
- Recent cities
- More preferences

$8 for something I use all the time (every day) is no problem with me. Pintware.

Where is the "plist file"? Complicated? If so, will you please give me a quick "how to"?
Thanks.

/Users/<username>/Library/Preferences/com.glu.WeatherPop.plist

a part of mine looks like this:

I made sure to:
1) remove WeatherPop from my login items
2) download the new version/replace the old version
3) re-add WeatherPop to my login items.

It all works great now...

Glucose's own Liza posted this at VersionTracker:

There are a number of bugs that have been reported with WPA -- just posting to let you know that I'm working on them, and I'll try to get these bugs fixed and a new release out next week.

i have it at home. well worth the $8 for the pro version. i have mone working a-ok as a login app......

i did have a problem with the standard version on my mac at work. did not load icon at all. not sure if it is a proxy server problem or a conflict with something else (like magic menu for stuff it)

I have the same launch at login problem. Might it have something to do with FruitMenu 2.0 that I installed the same day?

I got it working again at Login for me....

All I did was use Sherlock to locate all WeatherPop files and I deleted them...EVERYTHING, and then re-downloaded WeatherPop Advance, installed, and placed in Login panel.

Seems to work now....oh well, glad to know that Lisa is coming out with another version next week. What a kickass product and company.
