They both decided to release the software they've been holding above our heads the exact same day. BAH! It's Monday! Why didn't they release yesterday?!?!

Both Porfiry and Justin did a damn good job on their apps. It was well worth the wait, imo!

Only thing is, Aquisition uses Drawers for the intended use and it is a damn good app.

Proteus is clunky and has my iBook feeling like a Powerbook Duo.

Been running 2.0 privately for Justin for a while now and I LOVE it. I don't know why it's running badly on your machine or why you think it's "Clunky". It's more slimmed down than fire and while Adium does have the one window feature it can't support a lot of users as the tabs loose their names after too many pop up. I'm not insulting Adium as I think it's a great app, I just don't understand why you think Proteus is so "Clunky".
