Here's some instructions I posted on the Something Awful Forums for setting up X11 with nice font options, and making GTK2 look extra sweet with a nice theme. I thought I would repost them here for you nice folks.

You install this GTK2 theme switcher.

Code:
tar zxvf gtk-theme-switch-2.0.0rc2.tar.gz cd gtk-theme-switch-2.0.0rc2 make mv switch2 /sw/bin/
You install this GTK2 theme.

Code:
tar zxvf GTK2-Industrial.tar.gz cd GTK2-Industrial-Engine ./configure --prefix=/sw make make install
You install these lovely Bitstream Vera fonts.

Code:
tar jxvf ttf-bitstream-vera-1.10.tar.bz2 cd ttf-bitstream-vera-1.10 mv *.ttf /Library/Fonts/
You grab this local.conf, and throw it in /etc/fonts/

You run switch2 and select your beautiful Ximian Industrial Theme

ld: warning suggest use of -bind_at_load, as lazy binding may result in errors or different symbols being used
symbol _locale_charset used from dynamic library /sw/lib/libiconv.dylib(localcharset.o) not from earlier dynamic library /sw/lib/libintl.1.dylib(localcharset.lo)

I get that every time i try to do a make.

Any ideas?
