Google updates Hangouts On Air with full-screen camera
Google has updated the Hangouts feature of Google+ that will help one-person broadcasts. Hangouts On Air will now default to a full-screen single-camera video for broadcasts, instead of showing a large image with a smaller thumbnailed view in the camera roster below, something which apparently has been added after numerous requests from users.
The same single-fullscreen camera view can also be achieved when there are more than one participant in the chat, according to TechCrunch, by using the Hangouts Cameraman app and putting everyone else "backstage" in order to keep the single camera visible.

On by default, the change will help users that rely on Hangouts On Air to record and share live video to YouTube quickly and simply, such as musicians and podcasters. In December, Google added 18 features to Google+, with Hangouts receiving a modification that reduced the amount of bandwidth that Hangouts requires to operate.
