MetroPCS launches 4.5-inch LG Spirit 4G smartphone for $200
MetroPCS has added the LG Spirit 4G to its growing roster of LTE-capable smartphones. The spiritual successor to the LG Motion 4G, Esteem, and Connect 4G, the Spirit 4G offers a 4.5-inch touchscreen with a 960x540-resolution and protection via Gorilla Glass, as well as connectivity to the carrier's 4G LTE network.
Powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, the Spirit 4G has a 5-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash, a "Cheese Shutter" feature, the ability to record 1080p video, and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing counterpart. Running on Android Ice Cream Sandwich, it also has 4GB of storage expandable via microSD card, a 2,150mAh battery, and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity options.

Compatible with MetroPCS' 4G LTE plans, the LG Spirit 4G is on sale for $200 off-contract, though it does require a mail-in rebate. After the rebate period, it will cost $270.
