Google Nexus 7 with 3G connectivity goes on sale in Japan
Google has started to sell the 3G-enabled version of the <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/278829==http://www.macnn.com/reviews/google-nexus-7-with-jelly-bean.html" rel='nofollow'>Nexus 7</a> in Japan, alongside the existing Wi-Fi models. The Wi-Fi + 3G Android tablet, with 32GB of storage and support for W-CDMA and HSPA+, has gone on sale a few days after it's <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/278830==http://www.google.co.jp/nexus/10/" rel='nofollow'>10-inch</a> counterpart, the <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/278831==http://www.electronista.com/articles/12/12/22/tablet.available.for.pick.up.at.walmart/" rel='nofollow'>Nexus 10</a>, reached the same regional Google Play store.<br />
<br />
As is found in other versions of the Nexus 7 with access to mobile phone networks, the Nexus 7 with 3G has an extra slot for a microSIM card, and is able to connect on 850,900,1700,1900, and 2100MHz bands. The Google Play store has it on sale for 29,800 yen ($318), according <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/278827==http://k-tai.impress.co.jp/docs/news/20130207_586856.html" rel='nofollow' target="_self" title="">to</a> <em>Impress Watch</em>.

Previously unavailable in Japan, the Nexus 10 brings with it a larger display and form factor than the Nexus 7, though is available with Wi-Fi only, as opposed to having 3G connectivity, <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/278828==http://androidcommunity.com/nexus-10-finally-launches-in-japan-play-store-20130205/" rel='nofollow' target="_self" title="">reports</a> <em>Android Community</em>. Both 16GB and 32GB variants are available to purchase, for 36,800 yen ($395) and 44,800 yen ($480) respectively, but potential customers will have to wait until more stock arrives in-store.
