Apple issues promised post-attack Java update
Apple has released a promised Java update in the wake of an attack by Chinese hackers. The patch is available in two versions, for Lion/Mountain Lion and Snow Leopard. In both cases the code should bring Java SE 6 up to v1.6.0_41.

The same exploit was used by Chinese hackers to attack Facebook in January. Like Facebook, Apple claims not to have had any data stolen, but does acknowledge that some of the computers used by its workers were compromised.
