The mid-range Liquid E1, launched last month, and the entry-level Liquid Z2 will both be made available in Europe at the same time, with France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and the Ukraine being the first to receive it, followed by the UK, Italy, and Russia.
The Liquid E1 uses a dual-core 1GHz processor with 1GB of RAM, powering a 4.5-inch, 540x960 IPS display. A rear 5-megapixel camera is joined by a 0.3-megapixel front-facing counterpart, while the 4GB of internal storage can be expanded via microSD. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0+EDR, GPS, and FM radio are also accompanied by a dual-speaker system with DTS Sound processing and an option to use dual SIM cards.
Using the same dual-core 1GHz processor, the Liquid Z2 houses a smaller 3.5-inch display, but retains the optional dual-SIM functionality. Both options of rear camera, 3MP or 5MP, are claimed to launch in under 1 second, provides 99-short continuous shooting, panoramic, and multi-angle modes. SRS Sound processing is also included.
The Liquid E1 is expected to cost around 200 euros ($270) and the Liquid Z2 for around 100 euros ($135). Details of a US release remain unknown.
