Mophie adds Juice Pack Air to iPhone 5 battery-case line
Battery-boosting case manufacturer Mophie has used Mobile World Congress to show off its new iPhone 5 case, shortly after putting the <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/279827==http://www.electronista.com/articles/13/02/05/new.case.18.percent.thinner.than.previous.iphone.c ases/" rel='nofollow'>Juice Pack Helium</a> on the market. The <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/279828==http://www.mophie.com/mophie-juice-pack-air-iPhone-5-p/2105_jpa-ip5-blk.htm" rel='nofollow'>Mophie Juice Pack Air</a> for iPhone 5 takes the same concept of previous incarnations, but this time it is designed to house the extra size of the iPhone 5, along with a number of slight adjustments. <br />
The new Juice Pack Air provides 1700mAh of extra battery capacity, an improvement over the version for the iPhone 4 and 4S which could hold 1500mAh. Weighing in at 2.68 ounces, it is claimed to be lighter and thinner than earlier versions, and Mophie has taken the time to add integrated pass-through buttons to the design, as well as a proprietary mute switch.
Charged by microUSB, the Mophie Juice Pack Air is on sale in the US for $100.
