Briefly: Amazon X-Ray for TV shows, 3D-printable Ouya casing
Amazon has updated the X-Ray feature of its Instant Video service to now include television shows. The update will allow users to view IMDB information for individual episodes of programs, including the names of actors, what other shows they have appeared in, and other similar content. Expanding what the company has done to movies in the last six months since the feature's launch, X-Ray is available to use for a number of popular TV shows on the Kindle Fire, Kindle Fire HD, and the Amazon Instant Video app on the Wii U.

Ouya, MakerBot release 3D files for printable console case

Owners of the Kickstarter-backed Ouya will be able to print their own case for the game console, as part of its creator's pledge to make the system as open as possible. Working with MakerBot, Ouya has released the 3D design files for the case, allowing for extra cases to be 3D printed through such systems as the MakerBot Replicator series. The release of the files comes a day before the Ouya is set to be shipped to Kickstarter backers, and months before the $100 Android-based console is expected to reach retail.
