BlackBerry Q10 reaches FCC, could signal impending US launch
The <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/283581==http://www.electronista.com/articles/13/01/30/touchscreen.only.keyboard.smartphones.announced/" rel='nofollow'>BlackBerry Q10</a> has passed through FCC-mandated testing, ahead of a yet-to-be announced United States launch. The <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/283582==https://apps.fcc.gov/oetcf/eas/reports/ViewExhibitReport.cfm?mode=Exhibits&RequestTimeout =500&calledFromFrame=N&=0810&application_id=970555 &fcc_id=L6ARFL110LW" rel='nofollow'>filings</a>, made available earlier today, suggests that the first device with a keyboard running on BlackBerry 10 OS will be appearing on US carriers in the near future, alongside the touchscreen-based <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/283586==http://www.electronista.com/articles/13/02/01/final.design.unveiled/" rel='nofollow'>Z10</a> flagship. <br />
<br />
The Q10 has already been made available to pre-order <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/283583==http://www.electronista.com/articles/13/04/09/best.buy.to.ship.htc.one.on.t.mobile.on.april.19th/" rel='nofollow' target="_self" title="">through Rogers</a> in Canada as well as through stores in the <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/283584==http://www.electronista.com/articles/13/04/05/orders.for.q10.to.reach.uk.customers.by.end.of.apr il/" rel='nofollow' target="_self" title="">United Kingdom</a>, both with an end-of-April launch time. The filings, found <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/283585==http://www.engadget.com/2013/04/17/blackberry-q10-fcc/" rel='nofollow' target="_self" title="">by</a> <em>Engadget</em>, could be a sign that the US launch will take place not long afterwards, though it is unlikely to be on the same day. <br />

Offering a full QWERTY keyboard, the Q10 has a 3.1-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display, a rear 8-megapixel camera with 2-megapixel front-facing counterpart, and 16GB of storage expandable by up to 64GB.
