Briefly: Vine heading to Android, Amazon updates Kindle Android app
Popular video app <a href="" rel='nofollow'>Vine</a> will be headed to Android in the future. Co-founder of the Twitter-owned app Dom Hofmann confirmed <a href="" rel='nofollow'>to</a> <em>The Verge</em> it will be ported, following its successful launch on <a href="" rel='nofollow'>iOS devices</a>. The app, which allows users to create six-second video clips for sharing on social networks, is also reportedly going to include the ability to tag friends to a clip, in order to foster more sharing between users. <br />

Amazon has updated its Kindle app for <a href="" rel='nofollow'>Android</a> with a number of design changes that brings it closer to the user interface found in the <a href="" rel='nofollow'>Kindle Fire</a> tablets. The latest version introduces a carousel of book covers for recent items instead of a grid, the navigation panel adds sections for documents and periodicals, and also provides viewing of items just stored on the device as well as items stored in the Amazon cloud.
