Nokia compares Lumia 928 PureView camera against iPhone, Galaxy S III
Nokia is continuing to tease its impending <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/285140==http://www.electronista.com/articles/13/04/25/new.lumia.device.expected.to.be.revealed.at.event/" rel='nofollow'>launch</a> of the <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/285141==http://www.electronista.com/articles/13/05/07/london.launch.to.feature.two.phones.including.alum inum.coated.catwalk/" rel='nofollow'>Lumia 928</a>, by comparing its camera against that of the <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/285144==http://www.electronista.com/reviews/iphone-5.html" rel='nofollow'>iPhone 5</a> and <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/285145==http://www.electronista.com/reviews/samsung-galaxy-s-iii-for-us-carriers.html" rel='nofollow'>Samsung Galaxy S III</a>. A video on the Nokia <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/285142==http://www.nokia.com/us-en/lumia928" rel='nofollow'>website</a> using footage from the three phones claims to show how the 8.7-megapixel PureView camera stands up to those found in competing handsets in low-light conditions. <br />
<br />
The video, filmed at Adventureland in New York in the evening, uses a rollercoaster to demonstrate how the Lumia is capable of higher image saturation and a sharper image focus than the iPhone 5, while it beats out the Galaxy S III on video noise and focus. Though the Lumia 928 manages to cope with the situation fairly well, all three cameras do suffer from an unstable video caused through the coaster's motions. <br />
<br />
Despite the apparent genuine appearance of the video, there may be some who will doubt it is really from Nokia's upcoming smartphone. The launch of the <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/285143==http://www.electronista.com/articles/12/09/05/public.apology.admits.video.not.shot.with.lumia.92 0" rel='nofollow'>Nokia Lumia 920</a> was marred by the discovery of a video claimed to have been taken by the camera, but was later discovered to be created by a large camera rig complete with extra lighting. <br />

I'm amazed that they even dare to take this advertising angle.

They lost ALL credibility when they were caught faking both the video and still images last time around.

Why draw attention? Hoping nobody remembers?
