Briefly: Google Maps cycling in Europe, Philips DesignLine TV in UK
Google has updated its <a href="" rel='nofollow'>Maps service</a> in Europe to include directions and turn-by-turn navigation for cyclists. The update, according to a company blog <a href="" rel='nofollow'>post</a>, includes new directions for Germany, France, Poland, Ireland, Luxembourg, and Lichtenstein. Cycling directions through the service usually provides routes that use official cycle lanes, and with the new countries, Google has teamed up with a number of cycling organizations to supplement its own data as well as information supplied through Google Map Maker. <br />

The <a href=" st.wall/" rel='nofollow'>Philips DesignLine</a> HDTV is now available in the United Kingdom. The 55-inch 1080p screen, mounted to a single pane of glass that also doubles as a stand when rested against a wall, the TP Vision television also includes Ambilight rear illumination, which also shines through the more transparent areas of the sheet of painted glass. <em>Pocket-Lint</em> <a href="" rel='nofollow'>reports</a> that Selfridges are selling the DesignLine for &pound;2,800 ($4,230) during a two-week exclusivity period.
