Briefly: E Ink e-paper smartwatch display, Eye-Fi for smartphones
<a href="http://macnn.com/rd/286931==http://www.electronista.com/articles/12/06/06/e.ink.technology.bound.for.other.applications/" rel='nofollow'>E Ink</a>, a manufacturer of monochrome displays, has announced it is creating a 1.73-inch e-paper screen for use with smartwatches. Offering 16 shades of greyscale, a resolution of 320x240, and low power requirements, <em>Slashgear</em> <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/286928==http://www.slashgear.com/e-ink-unveils-1-73-inch-flexible-e-paper-smartwatch-display-03284742/" rel='nofollow'>reports</a> that the display will be surfacing in the <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/286929==http://www.sonostar.com/Smartwatch/Overview" rel='nofollow'>Sonostar Smartwatch</a>, due to be shown later this week at Computex. <br />

<strong>Eye-Fi ships SD card that transmits photographs to smartphone app</strong><br />

Eye-Fi has created a new SD memory card for cameras that sends images wirelessly to a smartphone. Connecting over Wi-Fi, the <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/286930==http://www.eye.fi/products/mobi" rel='nofollow'>Eye-Fi Mobi</a> will transfer photographs to an Android or iOS device running its mobile app, which can then be edited and transferred to various online services. The Eye-Fi Mobi costs $50 for the 8GB card, and $80 for the 16GB version. <br />
