Microsoft E3 keynote reveals Xbox One launches November, new Xbox 360
Microsoft revealed launch details for its upcoming game console, as well as an update for its current version, at its E3 keynote event earlier today. Aside from outlining upcoming games, the Xbox One is now slated to appear on store shelves in November this year, the Xbox 360 has been redesigned, and current Xbox Live subscribers will also receive some extra benefits.

The Xbox One will initially ship to 21 markets around the world, with the initial launch bundle costing $500 or the equivalent for each market. The console will ship with one wireless controller, a 14-day trial of Xbox Live Gold for new members, and at launch, a "premium black" edition with a Day One wireless controller and a Day One achievement.

The new Xbox 360 design, shipping today in the US, UK, Canada, Ireland, and Australia, will apparently bring the console's appearance in line with the Xbox One branding, but without changing the internals. It will cost $200 for the 4GB model, and $300 for either the 250GB edition or the 4GB Kinect bundle.

Current Xbox Live Gold members will be able to download two free games every month from July until December, with the first offerings in July being Halo 3 and Assassin's Creed II. For the month of June, the free download will be Fable III. Microsoft also showed that the Xbox 360 will still be supported with titles for a while yet, with online multiplayer game World Of Tanks making its way to the console as a free title for Gold subscribers.
