Briefly: Amazon Kindle Fire in India, T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S4
Amazon has launched its Kindle e-reader and Kindle <a href="" rel='nofollow'>Fire HD</a> tablets <a href=" &pf_rd_s=center-1&pf_rd_r=0AVP9E56HQZJG4G0TEVN&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p =408408907&pf_rd_i=1320006031" rel='nofollow'>in India</a>. Due to ship on June 27th, the Kindle Paperwhite and Paperwhite 3G will cost 10,999 rupees ($190) and 13,999 rupees ($240) respectively, while the Kindle Fire HD tablets are listed as 15,999 rupees ($276) for the 7-inch model, and 21,999 ($380) for the 8.9-inch version. The expansion to India follows a similar move by the retailer into China late last week.<br />

<strong>T-Mobile lowers initial cost of Galaxy S4 to under $100, cuts others</strong><br />

T-Mobile is cutting the cost of select Samsung LTE smartphones. The <a href="" rel='nofollow'>Galaxy S4</a> has dropped from $150 upfront and 24 payments of $20 to $99.99 and the same monthly payments, as a promotion until July 13th. The <a href="" rel='nofollow'>Galaxy Note II</a> will cost $170 initially, and the <a href="" rel='nofollow'>Galaxy S III</a> for $50, with both also incurring the $20 monthly charge for two years.
