LG could be formally revealing its follow-up to the <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/289227==http://www.electronista.com/articles/12/10/09/lgs.android.superphone.due.out.in.november/" rel='nofollow'>Optimus G</a> early next month. Invitations sent out for an event in New York on August 7th from the manufacturer reads "Great 2 Have You!," with the larger size of the letter G and number 2 hinting at it being the rumored <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/289228==http://www.electronista.com/articles/13/07/04/lg.g2.said.to.have.3gb.of.ram.equalling.rumored.ga laxy.note.iii/" rel='nofollow'>LG G2</a>, a handset that has appeared a few times in the last few weeks. <br />
<br />
A link to a video teasing the event accompanies the invitation, though aside from the name, neither the YouTube clip nor the image received <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/289229==http://www.androidcentral.com/lg-holding-an-event-new-york-drops-plenty-clues-we-ll-see-optimus-g2" rel='nofollow'>by</a> <em>Android Central</em> provide any other clues about the phone itself. While two phones appear to be used in the video, neither appear to be the device in question, which is said to have <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/289230==http://www.electronista.com/articles/13/06/26/optimus.g.replacement.may.have.buttons.on.back.of. phone/" rel='nofollow' target="_self" title="">extra buttons</a> located on its back. <br />
<br />
The LG G2 is said to have a 5.2-inch Full HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor running at 2.3GHz, 3GB of RAM, and a 13-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization. <br />
