Briefly: Nokia adds Bluetooth 4.0 LE, Galaxy S4 reaches MetroPCS
Nokia has revealed it will be bringing Bluetooth 4.0 with Low Energy support to a number of Lumia smartphones. <em>BlogJack</em> <a href="" rel='nofollow'>reports</a> that the addition will be brought to the <a href=" s/" rel='nofollow'>Lumia 520</a>, <a href=" s/" rel='nofollow'>Lumia 620</a>, and Lumia 720, which will make the phones use a new standard for communicating with fitness monitors and other similar devices. The timing of the release, as well as if it will be added to the <a href=" nears/" rel='nofollow'>Lumia 900-series</a>, remains unknown, but more could be revealed during a media event on Thursday. <br />

MetroPCS is launching the <a href="" rel='nofollow'>Samsung Galaxy S4</a> on its network, as previously <a href="" rel='nofollow'>teased</a>, and will work on the carrier's 4G LTE network. The flagship Samsung smartphone will be going on sale in select markets for $549 without a contract, as MetroPCS does not currently offer such commitments. Other markets to receive the device on the network, along with online availability, will be announced in the future.
