The Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 DUOS will apparently be able to take two SIM cards at the same time, while effectively retaining all the specifications of the original device, including its 6.3-inch 720p LCD display.
Aside from the dual-SIM nature, revealed by the leakschina Twitter account and Phone Arena, it will use a dual-core Exynos processor running at 1.7GHz with 1GB of RAM, slightly less than the 1.5GB in the original. Running on Android 4.2.2, it will have a rear-facing 8-megapixel camera with a 2-megapixel front-facing version, and support for storage expansion via a microSD card slot.
While a price and release schedule for the DUOS model are unknown, it is said to have passed Bluetooth certification, so could receive a formal launch in the near future.
