Feedly Pro adds article search, Evernote support in $5 subscription
RSS reader Feedly is introducing a paid version of its service to its users. The Google Reader replacement has added in a number of enhancements to its premium service, with priority technical support in the Pro edition being accompanied by integration with Evernote, and the ability to search within RSS feeds for specific articles.

Users will be able to save articles from Feedly in Evernote with one click for later reading, while the inclusion of Article Search will potentially be the biggest possible draw of subscribers, it being noticeably missing from the free Feedly offering. Engadget also notes that HTTPS support is also included to provide a "layer of security to your Feedly browsing."

Feedly is providing the Pro version of its service at $5 per month or $45 per year, but it is also offering a lifetime upgrade to Pro for $99, though this is limited to the first 5,000 that take up the offer. Despite offering some useful extras in the Pro edition, Feedly will continue to "iterate and add new features" to the free version of the service, with the chargeable Pro offering allowing the service to remain sustainable.
