New image of Nokia Sirius leaks, shows 10.1-inch 1080p display
More details for Nokia's rumored 10.1-inch "Sirius" tablet have surfaced, including a much clearer image of the supposed device, as well as its clean design lines. The full-size Windows RT slate, still yet to be confirmed by Nokia itself, has already reportedly been shown in leaks, and is said to be heading for launch on September 26th in an event in New York.

Sources of Paul Thurrott's WinSuperSite believe Sirius to have a 1080p display with outdoor readability, a 6.7-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, and a quad-core Qualcomm processor. Weighing 1.3 pounds and measuring 0.35-inches thick, it is said to have a battery life of around 10 hours, extendable by a multifunction keyboard cover with an extra battery, and "unique companion experiences with Nokia apps." Along with 4G LTE connectivity, this appears to generally match earlier leaks and rumors for the device, with the clearer picture making the late-September launch rumor seem more believable.

It is thought that the Nokia tablet will cost $500 when it is released, though the launch event for the Microsoft Surface 2 on the 23rd may end up hurting Nokia's chances, if the Sirius launch does indeed go ahead.
