iPhone 5s gets Personal Pickup option; online orders shift into Oct.
Apple has made the <a href="http://aos.prf.hn/click/camref:ikMw/destination:http://store.apple.com/us/buy-iphone/iphone5s">iPhone 5s</a> newly available through its Personal Pickup program. The option allows people to order a product online, but pick it up at a local Apple Store, saving time. Some 5s models are <a href="http://www.macrumors.com/2013/09/23/apple-retail-stores-launch-in-store-pickup-option-for-iphone-5s-with-availability-listings/">reportedly</a> available for same-day pickup at some stores, despite Apple having <a href="http://www.electronista.com/articles/13/09/23/ios.7.activations.break.200.million/">gone through much of its launch stock</a>. The iPhone 5c is believed to be more widely available. <br /><br />People wanting a 5s delivered may now have to wait a considerable amount of time. All models are listed as shipping in "October" at Apple's US online store. The <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/294559==http://store.apple.com/us/buy-iphone/iphone5c" rel='nofollow'>5c</a>, by contrast, is shipping within 24 hours.
