Acer Iconia W4 with IPS display, Bay Trail processor caught on tape
An updated version of the months-old Acer Iconia W3 has been shown off in a new video. The Iconia W4, said to be running on the recently-revealed quad-core Intel Atom Z3740 clocked at 1.33GHz and supported by 2GB of RAM, appears to just be a basic upgrade to its internals rather than a complete product overhaul.

The IPS panel on the 8.1-inch tablet tried out by Bouweenpc is believed to be a better one than the display used in the Iconia W3, though it has the same 1280x800 resolution as before. The 32GB of storage is identical to the W3, though only half is usable due to Windows 8.1 being pre-installed. The front-facing 2MP webcam remains the same, though the rear-facing version has been upgraded to 5 megapixels. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS are also included.

It is suggested that the Iconia W4 will ship for around 330 euro ($445), though a release date will remain unknown until Acer formally announce the tablet.
