Briefly: BBC iPlayer podcast downloads, iPhone 4G settings for O2
The BBC has updated its <a href="" rel='nofollow'>iPlayer Radio</a> app for <a href="" rel='nofollow'>iOS</a> and <a href=" " rel='nofollow'>Android</a>, adding the option to download podcasts from the broadcaster. Downloaded shows will appear under the new "My Downloads" part of the app, with the option to force the app to only download podcasts while connected to a Wi-Fi hotspot, in order to avoid potential extra data charges from carriers. <br />

<strong>O2 to provide 4G network access settings, compensation to iPhone 5s, 5c owners</strong><br />

Customers of British carrier O2 will be able to use the <a href="" rel='nofollow'>iPhone 5s</a> and <a href="" rel='nofollow'>iPhone 5c</a> on its 4G network in the near future. <em>Crave</em> <a href="" rel='nofollow'>reports</a> that the carrier will provide settings through iTunes or over Wi-Fi for 4G access for subscribers with the smartphone. As compensation for the week of 3G-only access, O2 will be providing iPhone 5s and 5c owners &pound;5 ($8) off their bills.
