Motorola DVX budget Moto X spotted in FCC filing
Motorola could be working on a low-cost version of its <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/295260==http://www.electronista.com/articles/13/08/01/google.takes.unique.approach/" rel='nofollow'>Moto X</a> flagship smartphone, according to <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/295261==https://apps.fcc.gov/oetcf/eas/reports/ViewExhibitReport.cfm?mode=Exhibits&RequestTimeout =500&calledFromFrame=N&application_id=255186&fcc_i d=IHDT56PF1" rel='nofollow'>filings</a> at the FCC. Images in the filing, submitted to show how the smartphone is set-up for testing, gives an almost complete front and back shot of what is believed to be the Motorola DVX, with only a few minor stickers placed on the rear. <br />

While the photographs spotted <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/295257==http://www.reddit.com/r/Android/comments/1ne1u1/motorola_dvx_shows_it_face_and_back/" rel='nofollow'>on</a> <em>Reddit</em> certainly show a device with a striking similarity to the Moto X itself, there are a few slight visible differences. The speaker grille and the front camera differ from the original, as well as a seemingly-wider earpiece. GSM and WCDMA appear in the accompanying report, though there does not appear to be LTE nor NFC in the device. <br />

The DVX name stems from a photograph of a <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/295258==http://www.electronista.com/articles/13/09/19/moto.x.to.be.sold.on.republic.wireless.without.two .year.commitment/" rel='nofollow'>Republic Wireless</a> meeting. A presentation side appearing in the photo is said <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/295259==http://www.androidpolice.com/2013/09/23/republic-wireless-may-launch-the-motorola-dvx-a-low-cost-moto-x-alternative-in-october/" rel='nofollow'>by</a> <em>Android Police</em> to mention the DVX and a release for sometime in October.
