Google removes Glass resale threat, adds agenda view in X11 update
Google is now allowing owners of the Explorer Edition of Glass to sell their device to others without deactivating them. The change in policy comes at the same time as a software update for the wearable display, which includes changes to navigation for travel to home and work, as well as the ability to bring up the day's agenda.

The original Terms of Service for the device prevented owners from loaning or reselling the smart eyewear, with Google threatening to remotely disable Glass if it is done so without authorization. The new Google Glass FAQ states that "While it's against our terms of service to sell your device, we don't plan on disabling any Explorer's device." Though it is still frowned upon by Google, Android Police notes that Google could still make life difficult for owners of resold devices, by not honoring warranties nor providing support.
In the X11 software update, the long press action for search has been removed, replaced instead by three slow taps if the display is off. A list of appointments for a specific day can be brought up by searching for "my agenda" or "what am I doing in November," the Glass Google+ page gives as examples. Stating "OK Glass, get directions to home" or "to work" will provide navigational instructions to the two locations set as home and work.
