Mad Catz working with Nvidia to add GameStream to M.O.J.O console
Mad Catz is working with Nvidia to add its GameStream technology to the <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/298085==http://www.electronista.com/articles/13/10/08/tegra.4.game.console.to.use.google.play.other.stor es.for.apps/" rel='nofollow'>M.O.J.O.</a> Android game console. The device, shipping on December 10th, could see the same in-home game streaming technology used in the <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/298086==http://www.electronista.com/articles/13/02/05/new.nvidia.blog.demos.project.shield.afk.capabilit y/" rel='nofollow'>Nvidia Shield</a> handheld console added to the low-cost Android device shortly after it goes on sale.<br />
<br />
"We're talking to Nvidia and we hope to enable GameStream soon after the launch of the console," said Mad Catz Global PR Ddirector Alex Verrey <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/298082==http://www.engadget.com/2013/11/10/nvidia-gamestream-third-party-devices/" rel='nofollow'>to</a> <em>Engadget</em>. GameStream is not the only technology that Mad Catz has its eye on, as Verrey advised that the company is "also very excited <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/298083==http://www.electronista.com/articles/13/09/23/steamos.to.offer.steam.based.gaming.licenseable.by .device.manufacturers/" rel='nofollow'>for Steam</a> and we look at all these opportunities with interest." <br />
<br />
GameStream, a system where video from a PC running a game is viewable and controlled by a separate device elsewhere on a network, has already been demonstrated on <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/298084==http://www.electronista.com/articles/13/07/18/bounty.of.100000.offered.to.ouya.game.with.highest .pledge.total/" rel='nofollow'>the Ouya</a>, another game console devoted to Android titles, though there has yet to be any official confirmation it will be heading to it in the future. <br />
<br />
The Mad Catz M.O.J.O. will be priced at $250 at launch.
