Intel opening 'Experience' pop-up stores to promote processor lines
Intel is opening its own retail stores in the US, in an effort to market devices using its processors. The pop-up "Intel Experience" stores will follow the lead of other producers, such as Microsoft and Samsung, in creating the promotional retail locations, with the first to be opened in NoLita in New York on November 23rd.

The stores will offer free coffee to customers, as well as showing free movies every Friday, according to Laptop Magazine, along with lectures and technology events. They will also accept old devices for recycling, and will apparently loan items to locals for a test drive. Specific items being sold at the store have yet to be revealed though it is likely to include notebooks, tablets and other devices using Intel technology in some way, with Intel confirming that stores could also be used to order items online, suggesting that it will be more a showroom than a traditional retail outlet.

Intel has yet to reveal other stores, but did advise that the stores are only temporary, with the NoLita store set to close after January 25th.
