Apple pushes out iOS 7.0.4, updates for Apple TV
Apple has released version 7.0.4 of its iOS operating system for iPads, iPhones, and iPods. The update is available through the Settings app, under General --> Software Updates. Apple says the update addresses "bug fixes and improvements, including a fix for an issue that causes FaceTime calls to fail for some users." Apple has also pushed out an update for its Apple TV set-top box.<br />

The update – identified as "build 11B554a," applies to the iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, and the iPhone 5s. Affected iPads include the iPad 2, third-generation iPad, fourth-generation iPad, iPad mini, iPad Air, and iPad mini with Retina display. Fourth- and fifth-generation iPod touch models can also get the new update. <br />

Thursday's update comes shortly after Apple <a href="" rel='nofollow'>pushed out iOS 7.0.3</a> in October. That update added support for iCloud Keychain password and form entry data syncing. It also fixed a number of issues with Touch ID fingerprint scanning for the iPhone 5s. <br />

Apple also released iOS 6.1.5 for the fourth-generation iPod touch. That update fixes an issue that would cause FaceTime to fail for some users.
