Blu Products ships unlocked Studio 5.0 II, Advance 4.0 smartphones
Blu Products has released a pair of budget Android smartphones that both support multiple bands, allowing it to connect to all GSM and HSPA+ networks in North America. The Studio 5.0 II and the Advance 4.0 are unlocked devices with virtually identical internals, with the only real difference between the two Android 4.2 devices being the physical size of the display.

Blu Studio 5.0 II

The Studio 5.0 II has a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 480x854, while the Advance 4.0 opts for a four-inch, 480x800-resolution version. Both use the same dual-core MediaTek processor with Mali-400 GPU, though clocked at 1.3GHz on the Studio 5.0 II and 1.2GHz on the smaller device, and offer the same 512MB of RAM, 4GB of expandable storage, rear 5-megapixel and front-facing VGA cameras, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and FM Radio, reports Engadget. The smaller Advance 4.0 also has the smaller battery, at 1,600mAh compared to the Studio 5.0 II's 2,000mAh.
Shipping in black and white versions, the Studio 5.0 II and the Advance 4.0 sells for $139 and $89 respectively.
