Briefly: MTV Android app released, Dogecoin wallet service hacked
MTV has released an Android app on <a href="" rel='nofollow'>Google Play</a> for its programming, bringing it in line with the version for <a href="" rel='nofollow'>iOS</a> devices. The free app lets users watch recently-broadcast TV shows on a mobile device, though only after the user has authenticated a cable subscription with the app, <a href="" rel='nofollow'>reports</a> <em>Android Community</em>. Other users can watch smaller video clips, see extra show content, view show-specific Twitter feeds, and read music and fashion news. <br />

<strong>Dogecoin wallet service hacked, estimated 21 million coins taken</strong><br />
<br />
A storage service for Dogecoin, a virtual currency in a similar vein <a href="" rel='nofollow'>to Bitcoin</a>, has revealed its servers were hacked with the intention of stealing the currency. A page at Dogewallet was modified to make all transactions point to one specific account, stealing an estimated 21 million Dogecoins worth approximately $12,000. Dogewallet has shut down its <a href="" rel='nofollow'>website</a> and, in a message on its site and on <a href="" rel='nofollow'>Reddit</a>, has begun the process of refunding coins back to their rightful owners.
