Acer revises Iconia A1, Iconia B1 tablets, upgrades C720P Chromebook
Acer will be adding to its Iconia tablet range with two updated models, the company has revealed. The revised Iconia A1-830 and Iconia B1-720, upgraded from the earlier <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/301644==http://www.electronista.com/articles/13/05/03/ips.display.at.1024x768.12ghz.quad.core.processor/" rel='nofollow'>Iconia A1</a>and <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/301645==http://www.electronista.com/articles/13/01/07/speculated.100.price.tag.in.fact.150/" rel='nofollow'>B1</a> respectively, will be joined at CES next week by the revised C720P Chromebook, an updated model of the touchscreen noteboook the company revealed in <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/301646==http://www.electronista.com/articles/13/11/26/10.point.touch.adds.multitouch.windows.8.like.gest ures.to.line/" rel='nofollow'>late November</a>, though with some slight changes. <br />

The Iconia A1-830 is a 7.9-inch Android 4.2.1 tablet with a 1024x768-resolution IPS display and 178-degree viewing angles. Running on a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Clover Trail+ processor with 1GB of RAM, it houses a rear-mounted 2560x1920-resolution camera with a front-facing 1600x1200 counterpart, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, 16GB of storage upgradeable by up to 32GB, and up to 7.5 hours of battery life. <br />

The new Iconia B1 opts for a dual-core 1.3GHz processor with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage, all held inside a slimmer design with a patterned back cover. Running on Android 4.2.1, the tablet has a 7-inch 1024x600 display with a front-facing webcam, and up to five hours of battery life. <br />

The C720P-2600 shares the majority of its specifications with November's announced version. Just as before, it has an Intel Celeron "Haswell" processor, 32GB SSD storage, a touch-enabled 1366x768 11.6-inch display, Wi-Fi, an integrated HD webcam, and a 7.5-hour battery life. The new model includes a white color option and 2GB of RAM, with buyers also receiving 100GB of Google Drive storage for two years and 12 Gogo in-flight Internet passes. <br />

The C720P-2600 will be available from early January in the US and areas of Europe for $300. The Iconia A1-830 will reach North America sometime this quarter for $149, while the Iconia B1-720 will ship in North America by mid-January for $130.
