Google Play Music service now available to Canadian customers
Google announced today that Google Play Music has finally jumped the Canadian border. The music streaming service, which features over 25 millions songs across multiple music labels and genres, is finally available in Canada for the first time. The service launched in the US in 2011.

The hybrid storage and streaming service allows customers to store 20,000 of their personal song files online for free, to be listened to from anywhere. Being part of the Google Play system allows new albums and individual songs to be purchased in-app or through the web interface, on top of the occasional free albums that Google offers to its users. Play Music account holders are also able to create streaming channels without ads, unlike other free streaming services, but the latter does require a paid All-Access subscription to do so.

Subscription fees currently run $10CAD ($9.10) per month for the All-Access service. As a special promotion, Google is offering Canadian users the chance to sign up for a lower rate of $8CAD ($7.30) per month if an account is created before June 30. Each subscription will include the first 30 days of the service for free.
Google Play Music is available on Android and iOS devices or via web interface at .
