toast problems?

Having problems with toast and my scsi burner..works fine until I shut down the burner and toast, then if i want to burn again and start them up toast won't open a window and crashes and i have to restart I have toast 5.2 and 10.2.1
Itunes won't quit at all and I have to force quit it , so now itunes is out of my system !
